Blow mold design should follow customer requirements

 

Customer requirements: material surface and assembly requirements; mold steel, accessory material, and hardness requirements; mold interface with injection machine; specific brand of mold standard part; specific methods of mold components; similarity between drawings and provided blueprints, common viewing angle. If the customer has no special request, company standards will be followed. Advantages of using company standards include cost and time savings, stock availability, and easier duplicative processing. Company standards are stable and reliable, because such standards have already been verified through practice and are not easy to make mistakes. Keep structure as simplified and rational as possible. The simpler the better, because we should save time and shorten processing cycles.

 

Blow mold design must guarantee strength and lifespan

 

Improving the strength of multi-cavity plastic injection molds is also for improving the lifespan of the mold. The different production raw materials for plastic molds directly impact injection production. Mold structure and steel quality are critical in the design process. Therefore, before designing a product, we should have a full understanding of the raw materials produced. Think about how to give full play to the advantages of the characteristics of plastic raw materials and how to save costs in many ways.
